Not happy with this news. Feels like anime studios (maybe specifically MAPPA) is just shoving in movies into franchises where there doesn’t need to be one. Just include it into the next season, make it a bit longer. This has solidified that I don’t like how the Chainsaw Man anime is being handled. Disappointing. They hyped this anime so much only to cover what really just amounted to the intro with questionable directorial style and no news of a second season only to announce a movie for the next part a year later. Way to go.
