Monogatari Off & Monster Season - Completed

God I fucking love Monogatari. “Monogatari: Off & Monster Season”: 5/5. I hope this is a new beginning for Monogatari’s anime adaptation.

Watching this has been such a joyous experience for me. I guess I never even realized how much I love Monogatari before. I had accepted it was over and probably not coming back. But here it came, just as amazing as ever, and I had the privilege of being able to watch it while it aired. Smiling at the silly bits, laughing at the funny, taking the sentimental and philosophical to heart, admiring the beauty of the visuals and animation. Something that I adore that hasn’t yet been destroyed or long forgotten by this world. It reminds me of watching something with someone when I used to happily do that, or perhaps it’s Monogatari itself that feels like an old friend I’m catching up with. Ahh. I love it.
